Cannock Wedding of Mr & Mrs Hardware (Phil & Zoe)

The Chase Golf Club Cannock Staffordshire wedding of Phil and Zoe.

Glyn T Jones Photography  yesterday had the great pleasure of shooting the Cannock Wedding Photography for Phil and Zoe on their wedding day at The Chase Golf Club set on the edge of Cannock Chase.

We arrived at Cannocks stunning wedding venue to await the arrival of the groom, Phil, and his two best men along with his four ushers. Phil and his groomsmen arrived bang on time, Phil was looking very nervous, his best men even more so. We put the groomsmen at ease before starting the wedding photography. We photographed the group both outside the wedding venue and also beside the beautiful tree-lined lake that makes up part of the golf course. We had used this location before for Cannock wedding photography  and so knew that this location makes for stunning wedding photographs.

A coach soon arrived carrying many of the guests for the days wedding ceremony. This was now our time to photograph the six bridesmaids who all looked stunning in their matching white and gold dresses, and the page-boy who looked equally as smart dressed up in a waistcoat.

Once all the guests had been ushered inside the Cedar Suite where the wedding ceremony was to take place we awaited the arrival of the bride Zoe. Before long a silver Jaguar wedding car arrived carrying Zoe and her father Cliff. Zoe emerged from the car looking truly beautiful in her gorgeous antique coloured wedding dress, we spent some time photographing Zoe, along with her father and the bridesmaids before they all entered into the venue.

The wedding ceremony went perfectly eagerly watched by the couples friends and family who all seemed to enjoy the occasion. The registrar had given her permission for us  to photograph throughout the ceremony, this is always nice and allows us to capture more wedding photographs for the happy couple to enjoy.

With Phil and Zoe now officially Mr and Mrs Hardware the whole congregation moved outside sipping on bucks fizz while congratulating the newlyweds. We again used the stunning scenery at The Chase Golf Club to capture all of the traditional wedding photography including all the family group shots, and of course the confetti throwing tradition. Phil and Zoe received a very heavy showering of confetti, as well as having handfuls posted in various locations of their clothing. We now spent a while with the newlyweds shooting more relaxed informal wedding photography both serious portraits and more fun comedy photographs, both out on the golf course and also inside the wedding venue.

The time for the wedding breakfast soon arrived and so the new Mr & Mrs Hardware were formally introduced to their guests before the speeches began and they were served their food.

Glyn T Jones Photography then returned to the venue in the evening to photograph the cake cutting ceremony and also Phil and Zoe as they performed the official first dance together. Once this was over we finished the wedding photography so we left as the party was getting into full swing.

We would like to thank Phil and Zoe for choosing us to be their Staffordshire wedding photographers and for allowing us to share with them their special day.

We would also like to take this opportunity to wish them both a very long, healthy and happy life together as man and wife.

Congratulations Mr and Mrs Hardware!

2 weddings from the month of March 2012

Two lovely newlyweds from last month.

www.glyntjonesphotography.co.uk had the pleasure of photographing two weddings to start the 2012 wedding season during the month of March. Firstly we had the pleasure of  working with Graham and Simone on their wedding day on the 10th March, their special day took part at the Beautiful Hawkesyard Hall in Armitage, just on the outskirts of Rugeley Staffordshire. This venue truly is a photographers dream with many locations to shoot the wedding party. We arrived on the Saturday morning in glorious weather for this country, let alone the month of March, Graham arrived very soon after looking very smart all suited and booted with his young son dressed exactly to match. We spent some time with Graham and Simon, his best man, capturing various images of the groomsmen from the more formal posed shots, right through to a few candid shots of the groom party enjoying the preparations. We then were ferried over to the other side of Hawkesyard Hall by golf buggy to spend just a short time with the bridal party, here we were met by the sight of Simone looking absolutely stunning in her wedding gown, we captured some images of her with her bridesmaids, and of course her mother before moving back over to the main hall awaiting the start of the civil ceremony. Simone along with all of her party arrived in a stretch golf buggy complete with ribbons, before going inside the hall to walk down the aisle to greet Graham. Simone walked down the aisle to live music performed by a trio of wedding singers looking very excited. The wedding service went of without a hitch, before we ventured back outside to the stunning landscaped gardens set in the Staffordshire countryside, here we worked with the entire wedding party to capture all the formal group and family shots, before spending time alone with the newlyweds to capture more relaxed informal shots of them, showing their love and emotion towards each other. The wedding party then went of to celebrate and party the night away in the golf club which is also part of the Hawkesyard Hall estate.

The 17th of March then saw www.glyntjonesphotography.co.uk photographing the wedding of David and Carly, this was a church ceremony taking place at St Marks Church Great Wyrley in the West Midlands, followed by the wedding breakfast, and the wedding reception all held at The Chase Golf Club Pottal Pool Staffordshire. We arrived at the home of the parents of Carly to capture her leaving for the church with her father who was giving her away, here we saw the couples son, who even though just about 12 months old was wearing a full three piece suit looking very cute. We managed to fire a few shots off of Carly who looked truly stunning, with her family before heading over to greet David who had just arrived at St Marks Church with his best man and other members of the groomsmen before they all hurried inside the church to await the arrival of Davids bride. We didn’t have to wait long as Carly soon arrived in her lovely vintage car, she looked beautiful along with her three bridesmaids who were wearing stunning gowns made of striking purple silk, here we spent a short while working with the bridal party before a very excited Carly entered the church for her wedding service. In the church during the ceremony we were allowed to take photographs for the couples wedding album, so we made sure we captured every important moment for them to forever cherish. The whole party then made way into the church gardens, where again the weather was unseasonably warm and bright, for all the formal photos & the all important confetti shots which seemed to of been enjoyed by many people, I am sure the couple will be finding stray confetti for many months to come! The wedding guests then moved on to The Chase Golf Club leaving us alone with David and Carly as it was now their turn for the more relaxed photographs of them enjoying each others company, and the moment of just a small piece of calm in a hectic busy day. David and Carly were a true pleasure to work with and seemed to enjoy the time in front of the lens, making for some truly stunning shots for them to choose for their wedding album. At this point we all moved over to the Golf club, where again we were able to spend time with the couple and their guests taking many more photographs. Then it was time for the wedding breakfast so this was time for us to leave, before returning in the evening to capture the first dance as a married couple that David and Carly shared.

Glyn T Jones Photography would like to wish Graham, Simone, David and Carly a very happy and long future together. We also would like to take this opportunity to thank all concerned for choosing Glyn T Jones Photography to capture and document their special days for them.
